El Clap Farm: biodiversity and winemaking tradition in the heart of Friuli

The El Clap Farm is located at the foot of the gentle eastern hills of Friuli, immersed in a territory rich in biodiversity thanks to the proximity of the Corno and Judrio rivers. This unique environment is ideal for growing organic vineyards that represent the heart of the company.

Since 2000 El Clap has chosen the path of organic farming , which has become the cornerstone of company management. Today the 10 hectares of vineyards are cultivated with great attention to the natural balance of the vine, using only copper and sulfur for phytosanitary defense and enhancing biodiversity thanks to the spontaneous grass carpet and predatory insects. The manual harvesting of the grapes guarantees the selection of the best bunches and preserves their integrity until processing in the cellar.
