Collection: Organic Piedmont Barolo

Barolo is born on clay and limestone soils, at altitudes between 150 and 400 meters, in iconic municipalities such as Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra, and Verduno. Each municipality offers a different expression: more elegant and floral in La Morra, more austere and long-lived in Serralunga. The organic producers we select respect this diversity without correcting it.

On the nose, it opens with aromas of dried rose, liquorice, tobacco, oriental spices, and an undertone of wet earth. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with fine tannins that transform over the years into a rare silk. The finish is long, persistent, complex. A wine that is not drunk: it is listened to. By law, it must be aged for at least 38 months, 18 of which in wood – in organic wines often in large oak barrels, to preserve the character of the fruit.
