Palazzo Centofanti: Organic Tradition in Abruzzo

In the heart of Giuliano Teatino, {Link: Palazzo Centofanti offers artisanal organic wines, the fruit of a family passion handed down since the second half of the 19th century.

The Palazzo Centofanti company has a long history as a wine producer.

Already in the second half of the 19th century, Grandfather Piacentino produced wine for the refreshment and delight of travelers heading from the Adriatic coast to the Abruzzo hinterland.

Many years have passed since then, but the simple spirit, the love for traditions, the sense of collaboration, the strong bond with the land and the deep religious feeling that characterized those people have remained unchanged.

These values, which in the past allowed us to rise tenaciously from catastrophic events, such as the two world wars, characterize us today.

In the community of Giuliano Teatino (Chieti), religious sentiment is particularly strong.

Every year on August 19th, all Giulianesi, wherever they may be, return to the village to participate in the solemn procession of Saint Anthony of Padua, moved before the miracle of the Lily, which, though dry, sprouts anew in the Saint's hands.

And it is in this social context that the Palazzo Centofanti company was founded.
