Palazzo Centofanti: Organic Tradition in Abruzzo

In the heart of Giuliano Teatino, {Link: Palazzo Centofanti offers organic artisanal wines, the result of a family passion passed down from the second half of the nineteenth century.

The  Palazzo Centofanti company has a long history as a wine producer.

As far back as the second half of the nineteenth century, Nonno Piacentino produced wine to refresh and delight travelers heading from the Adriatic coast into the Abruzzo hinterland.

Many years have passed since then, but the simple spirit, love of tradition, sense of collaboration, strong connection to the land, and deep religious devotion that characterized those people remain unchanged.

These values, which in the past allowed us to rise again with tenacity from catastrophic events such as the two World Wars, now define us.

In the community of  Giuliano Teatino (Chieti), religious devotion is particularly strong.

Every year on August 19, all the people of Giuliano, wherever they may be, return to the village to take part in the solemn procession of Saint Anthony of Padua, moved by the  miracle of the Lily, which blooms again in the Saint's hands after it has withered.

It is within this social context that the  Palazzo Centofanti company was founded.

• Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC: Structured red, ideal with red meats.
• Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo DOC: Fresh rosé, perfect with soups and cold cuts.
• Pecorino IGT Terre di Chieti: Mineral white, excellent for aperitifs.
• Pinot Grigio IGT Terre di Chieti: Delicate white, ideal with seafood dishes.

Our wines are grown without chemicals, ensuring the fullest expression of the terroir.
