The Chianti Classico Chiandré DOCG BIO represents the expression of organic Tuscany, born from the balance between peasant tradition and winemaking innovation. This organic wine is primarily made from Sangiovese grapes (90%), enriched by a small percentage of Merlot and Canaiolo, which contribute to enhancing its structure and complexity. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks with a maceration of about 18 days, followed by differentiated aging: the Sangiovese rests in oak barrels for 12 months, while the Merlot matures in French barriques, then completing its journey with further aging in the bottle.
Visually, Chianti Classico Chiandré presents a brilliant ruby red color, evolving into elegant garnet hues over time. On the nose, it releases intense and persistent aromas, with notes of cherry, blackberry, and delicate floral hints of violet. On the palate, it is soft, velvety, and balanced, with a solid structure and a pleasant persistence. Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, it should be served at 18°C to best appreciate all its nuances.
