Slow Wine Fair 2027: The sustainable wine fair returns to Bologna from February 21st to 23rd

Slow Wine Fair will return to BolognaFiere from February 21 to 23, 2027. The sixth edition will once again bring good, clean, and fair wine to the forefront of discussion, along with the producers who work to preserve biodiversity, landscape, and the identity of their territories.

What is Slow Wine Fair

Slow Wine Fair is an international event dedicated to wine produced with respect for the environment, landscape, and agricultural communities.

The project is built around the idea of "good, clean, and fair" wine, an expression that considers the quality in the glass along with how the grapes are cultivated, the resources used, and the relationship between wineries and their territories of origin.

The fair brings together Italian and international producers who share the principles of the Slow Food Manifesto for good, clean, and fair wine. The goal is to create a space for tasting, discussion, and knowledge dedicated to the diverse expressions of contemporary viticulture.

The Slow Wine philosophy starts from the idea that wine is the result of a continuous relationship between people, vineyards, climate, landscape, and culture.

In 2026, there were over 1,100 wineries from all Italian regions and 27 countries. Approximately 60% of participating entities were certified organic, biodynamic, or engaged in a conversion process.

The program included four major conferences, numerous meetings, fourteen masterclasses, and various opportunities dedicated to tasting and in-depth exploration.
