Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut - Benny is an elegant and modern sparkling wine, made from Glera grapes grown in the Asolo hills by Bresolin, a Venetian winery rooted in the heart of the Asolo DOCG. Benny is the Extra Brut version of the Bresolin selection—drier and more crisp than Sior Lino, designed for those who love dry, characterful bubbles. Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG is a designation reserved for hillside vineyards, with lower yields and superior aromatic complexity compared to plain Prosecco DOC.
Pale straw yellow in color, it stands out for its refined, floral aroma: peach blossom, wild rose, and passion fruit combine with fruity notes of apple, grapefruit, and pineapple. The persistent and harmonious olfactory finish reveals citrus and tropical nuances. On the palate, it is savory and well-structured, with a slight acidic vein that enhances its freshness and balance. Vinification involves soft pressing, controlled fermentation, and aging in steel tanks on the fine lees for three months.

Recommended for
For those who love dry, clean bubbles, with no residual sweetness. Benny is the Extra Brut—the driest and crispiest version of the Bresolin range, designed for palates that seek freshness and tension in the glass. It’s the right choice for a sophisticated aperitif or to accompany raw fish, oysters, and seafood appetizers.
When to drink it
Immediately, well chilled, between 6 and 8°C. It’s a sparkling wine to be drunk young, when its floral and fruity aromas are at their peak. It does not require aging.
Taste characteristics
Savory, structured, with an acidic vein that cleanses the palate and invites another sip. The aromas are complex for a Prosecco—peach blossom, wild rose, passion fruit, pineapple—with a persistent and citrusy finish. Drier and more characterful than Sior Lino, more suitable for those who love French-style bubbles.
Why we chose this wine
Because Bresolin brings Extra Brut to Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG with a precision that can be felt in the glass. Benny is the Venetian answer for those seeking quality dry bubbles without resorting to Champagne. We chose it because it completes the Bresolin selection with a drier and more contemporary version, perfect for the most discerning palates.
Frequently asked questions
What dishes pair well with Benny?
Fish appetizers, oysters, raw seafood, sushi, white meats, delicate cured meats. Its dryness makes it ideal with iodized and mineral flavors.
What is the difference between Extra Brut and Brut?
Extra Brut has less than 6 g/l of residual sugar—it is the driest among Prosecco styles. Brut goes up to 12 g/l. The result is a crisper, more mineral, and drier sparkling wine.
Should it be served colder than Sior Lino?
Slightly yes: 6-8°C compared to Sior Lino’s 4-6°C. The higher temperature enhances the aromatic complexity without flattening the freshness.
