Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG Organic - Loisa

The Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG BIO 2024 Loisa by Cantina Manconi comes from Alta Gallura, in northern Sardinia, grown on granite soils at the foot of Mount Limbara. The Gallura Superiore DOCG is the highest expression of the appellation, with lower yields and greater aromatic complexity. The winemaking is meticulous: hand-harvesting, gentle pressing, static racking, temperature-controlled fermentation with selected yeasts, 6–8 months of aging in steel, and then two months of bottle rest.

In the glass, it presents an elegant straw-yellow color. The nose offers mineral aromas with delicate floral notes that enhance the typicity of the Vermentino and the unique character of Gallura’s granite soils. On the palate, it is fresh and persistent, with a slightly bitter finish that is the hallmark of quality Sardinian Vermentino—not a flaw, but an element of complexity that develops in the glass.
