The Manzoni Bianco Eva Sudtirol Alto Adige DOC BIO 2024 comes from Brunnenhof, Kurt Rottensteiner's organic farm in Mazon. Manzoni Bianco is an extremely rare grape variety—a cross between Riesling and Pinot Bianco created in the 1930s by Luigi Manzoni in Conegliano, which almost disappeared and is now grown by only a handful of producers in Italy. Brunnenhof is one of them. Harvested in mid-September, it has brief skin contact, gentle pressing, steel fermentation, and is aged on the fine lees until Easter. No oak, no malolactic fermentation: just fruit, freshness, and volcanic minerality.

The nose offers white flowers, peach, citrus, and a clean mineral note typical of the porphyry soils of Mazon. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and precise, with a lightness that makes it perfect from the first course to dessert. The finish is persistent and clean, with a subtle complexity that emerges sip after sip.
