The Sangiovese IGT Toscana - Aione It is a deep and intense red wine that expresses Tuscany with authenticity and character. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet: notes of violet and very ripe fruit blend with elegant blood-red nuances; with oxygenation, hints of face powder, carob, and vanilla emerge, enriching the olfactory complexity. The palate is ample, fleshy, and enveloping, supported by elegant tannins, a lively freshness, and a softness that makes it harmonious and persistent.
Produced from Sangiovese grapes grown on sandy soils rich in galestro, the Sangiovese IGT Toscana - Aione It's hand-picked in the first week of September. After chilling the grapes at 6°C, the must ferments spontaneously in stainless steel for 12 days and ages for approximately 12 months in third-passage tonneaux. With an alcohol content of 14%, served between 16°C and 18°C, it's the ideal companion for rich, intense dishes like pappardelle with wild boar, celebrating the strength and elegance of pure Sangiovese.

Color: Intense, bright and brilliant red
Aroma: Notes of violet and very ripe fruit accompanied by graceful blood sensations; with time, hints of talcum powder, carob and vanilla emerge.
Taste: The elegant tannins and the very present freshness are striking, both harmoniously dressed by the marked softness and richness of the body which give it a broad, pulpy and enveloping sip.
Pairings: A wine that cries out for the iconic dish of the Tuscan hills: pappardelle with wild boar.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested during the first week of September and placed in a cold room until the temperature reaches 6°C. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place in steel tanks for approximately 12 days. Maturation takes place in third-passage tonneaux for approximately 12 months.
