Pinot Noir Reserve Mazon Sudtirol Alto Adige DOC

Pinot Noir Reserve Mazon Sudtirol Alto Adige DOC

2021

Pinot Nero Riserva Mazon Sudtirol Alto Adige DOC is one of the most refined and complex expressions of the famous South Tyrolean grape variety. It has an elegant ruby red color tending towards garnet, embellished with orange reflections. On the nose it releases intense and enveloping aromas of ripe strawberries, raspberries, plums and cherries. This Pinot Nero Riserva Mazon is striking for its structure: on the palate it is pulpy but velvety, with soft tannins and a long and fruity finish that gives a subtle sweetness typical of the variety.

The vinification is carried out with great care: the grapes, harvested and selected by hand, ferment in large wooden vats in contact with the skins for two weeks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in 500-liter oak barrels and for another 8-10 months in larger barrels, with a further year of bottle aging. Pinot Noir Riserva Mazon is perfect with grilled dishes, roasts, game, smoked fish and mature and spicy cheeses, offering a deep and elegant tasting experience.
