PALAZZO CENTOFANTI

Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo DOC Organic

Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo DOC Organic

2024

The Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo DOC This is a rosé wine of great character and finesse, made from Montepulciano grapes vinified with particular care to preserve their freshness and delicate aromas. Vinification involves a brief cold maceration at 10°C followed by gentle pressing, which extracts fruity aromas without excessive color or tannins. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel preserves the varietal notes, while approximately two months of aging on the fine lees enhances the wine's complexity and roundness.

It presents a vibrant cherry pink color, a prelude to an intense and refined bouquet: cherry, strawberry, and raspberry blend with elegant floral notes and light vegetal nuances. The palate is fresh, balanced by a pleasant acidity and a well-balanced savoriness. The aromatic persistence is excellent, with a finish reminiscent of berries, a light almond note, and a hint of fresh wood. Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo DOC It is an ideal companion for aperitifs, traditional first courses, white meats, fish soups, shellfish, fresh cheeses and of course pizza.
