Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG BIO
2021
The Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG It is a wine of great character and elegance, born from the historic vineyards of Colle Sud Ovest, Punta Marcello, and San Giuseppe. Made from Nebbiolo grapes vinified with natural yeasts and semi-submerged cap maceration, this Barolo ages for over three years in Slavonian oak barrels before aging in bottle for at least six months. The result is a red wine of profound complexity and structure, capable of combining power and finesse in perfect balance.
It is ruby red with garnet highlights. The bouquet is broad and enveloping, with aromas of undergrowth, wild rose, leather, and dark spices, enriched with notes of camphor. On the palate, it opens with hints of morello cherry, black raspberry, and truffle, then evolves into nuances of mint, star anise, and blood orange. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, supported by a lively acidity that guarantees longevity. Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG It pairs perfectly with red meats, mature cheeses, grilled fish dishes and, for those who love to dare, even with a good dark chocolate.
